The two activists filed a federal lawsuit against the city of Cincinnati on Monday, claiming they were unknowingly caught up in the political fight over Cincinnati City Council ‘Gang of Five' text messages. Michigan's Attorney General obtained and used search warrants to allow investigators to go through call history lists, text messages, pictures, audio files, emails, instant messaging and other data, including calendars and GPS directions.
